Meet The Team

Paulina Martinez

Paulina Martinez has been a vital component of VMA’s Infrastructure Development Team for three years. Foremost, she has worked on various sections of the California High-Speed Rail Project, staffing outreach events where she informs and educates stakeholders, including communicating with Spanish-speakers. She has helped organize these community events, featuring a series of large-scale open houses and Stakeholder Working Group meetings where she coordinated with vendors and venues. Paulina also developed and continues to manage the administrative records for the High-Speed Rail sections.

Additional VMA infrastructure projects – where she researches, coordinates and staffs outreach events – include the Santa Barbara Cabrillo Blvd. Bridge Replacement, the City and County of Santa Barbara Roundabout Project at Olive Mill and San Ysidro, and the Kern Council of Governments Rural Transportation Study. And Paulina has assisted with the City of Covina Grand Ave. Rehabilitation Project by canvasing the affected community areas to inform about the project.

Paulina, who currently studies at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona’s College of Business, manages e-blast distribution and inventory for multiple VMA projects, including project fact sheets, maps and other collateral materials.
