After achieving her Bachelor’s in Communications at Cal State LA, Maria climbed the Starbucks ladder to become shift supervisor. This is where her love and compassion for helping people in need was ignited, which led to recruiting coworkers for volunteer work in their spare time as well as hosting donation drives on her own. Maria was also the social media coordinator for her store and later became an official social media coordinator/web designer for an El Monte online adult school called Golden Bridge College.

Maria is a woman of many skills, including work on video production sets, scripting and creating her own videos and, most importantly, her writing.
